DTF printing is a modern and efficient technique that allows for high-quality, vibrant transfers onto a variety of fabrics and hard surfaces. Its combination of flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and durability makes it a popular choice for custom apparel, print-on-demand businesses, and other custom products. The use of specialized DTF printers, transfer films, adhesive powders, and heat presses ensures that prints are long-lasting, colorful, and of professional quality.

How DTF Printing Works:

1. Design Creation: First, a digital design is created using design software like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW. The design is then printed using a DTF printer equipped with special inks (often CMYK plus white ink).
2. Printing on Transfer Film: The design is printed onto a transfer film. This film is specifically designed for DTF printing, and the inks used are typically water-based or pigment-based.
3. Applying DTF Powder: After the design is printed on the transfer film, a fine layer of DTF powder (also called adhesive powder) is applied to the printed image. The powder sticks to the wet ink.
4. Curing the Powder: The transfer film with the applied powder is passed through a curing oven or heat press to melt the powder. This turns the powder into a sticky adhesive layer that bonds the ink to the fabric once transferred.
5. Heat Transfer to the Fabric: The transfer film with the design is placed on the garment, and a heat press is used to transfer the design to the fabric. The heat activates the adhesive, which binds the ink to the fabric.
6. Peeling the Film: After the transfer process, the transfer film is peeled off, leaving the design adhered to the fabric.

1. Cutting the Design
   Cut out the shape you want to apply to the fabric with scissors. Make sure there are no other lines,color, or shapes around your design.
2. Moisture Removal
   Preheat the garment for a few seconds to remove excess moisture. Allow the garment to cool before adding the transfer.
3. Placing the designed sheet
   Put the transfer on the t-shirt with the white side down and the image up.
4. Heat Transfer
   Press with very firm pressure at 230-300°F for 10 seconds. Let it cool a little.
5. Cooling
   Let it wait for 10 seconds to cool enough before peeling.
6. Last Press
   Cover your design with parchment paper or similar paper and press again for 5 seconds.
